Mansfield Magpies Junior Cricket Club is a friendly, volunteer-run community club that started in 1980. We are a Summer Cricket Club that welcome boys and girls of all abilities to enjoy cricket.

Competitions we play in

Our Programs for Boys and Girls:

Ages 5 to 10: Cricket Blast (Saturday Mornings) – Learn skills and game awareness.

Ages 8 to 18: Junior Cricket (Saturdays) - Matches against other local clubs in the EDJCA and BEARS competitions.

Where we train and play

Our home ground is based at Yandina Park, 279 Wecker Rd, Mansfield. Our grounds includes nets reserved for Magpie players only, along with two cricket ovals. We hold training sessions and some games here, with other games held at schools in our local area.

Term 4: Saturday 10th October 2026 to Saturday 5th December 2026

Term 1: Saturday 30th January 2027 to Saturday 20th March 2027

A thrilling encounter saw the Roos come from behind to secure a crucial 1 point victory. Down by 12 points at halftime, captain Jake Morrison sparked the comeback with a brilliant individual goal in the late in the 3rd quarter. Young gun winger Tommy Chen sealed the win with a spectacular off-the-ground finish in the dying minutes. The defensive effort from Mike Stevens and Danny Walsh was outstanding, making crucial tackles when it mattered most.
